Haunted Scarecrow
The Haunted Scarecrow is a classic Halloween staple that can be easily elevated into a truly terrifying and artistic masterpiece. Instead of a friendly, straw-stuffed field helper, this character is a dark, vengeful spirit of the autumn harvest. The outfit consists of distressed flannel shirts, patched-up overalls, and heavy work boots. Use real straw or raffia stuffed into the cuffs of the sleeves and pants to look like they are bursting with dried grass.
The mask is the most crucial element: a burlap sack with roughly stitched mouth and eye holes, giving a rustic, handmade, and eerie appearance.
