What This Idea Means
The Grand Library Arch is designed for large rooms, enchanted study halls, or castle interiors. It surrounds doorway transitions with tall book stacks, integrated ladders, and quiet reading benches.
How to Make It
- Archway Base: Frame a 3×3 door opening using tall stacks of Bookshelves flanked by Polished Wooden Stairs and Slab arches.
- Access Ladder: Place Ladders up one side of the bookshelf walls leading up to an upper balcony shelf.
- Integrated Desk: Build a small recessed desk shelf within the library arch featuring a Lectern, Candle, and Chair.
- Detail Accents: Interspersed Chiseled Bookshelves allow you to place real Enchanted Books into the archway structure.
Tips & Variations
- Magic Academy Vibe: Add Enchantment Tables concealed at the base of the library arch so particle effects float upward through the room.
- Hidden Room Entrance: Build a secret redstone doorway behind one section of the bookshelf archway.
