Elevate the classic front yard graveyard by focusing on historical authenticity and deep texture. Craft custom tombstones from high-density insulation foam, carving intricate details, family crests, and poetic, tragic epitaphs. Paint them with multiple layers of textured gray, black, and green acrylics to mimic weathered granite, limestone, and moss growth. Prop some tombstones up straight, while angling others as if they are sinking into the earth over time. Enclose the cemetery with a distressed, faux wrought-iron fence made from painted PVC pipes. Scatter freshly dug piles of soil in front of a few select graves, complete with a stray skeletal hand clawing its way to the surface.
