18. The Deep Swamp Mangrove Palm

18

Thriving in murky waters and muddy estuaries, the Deep Swamp Mangrove Palm combines the elevated root system of a mangrove tree with the elegant canopy of a coastal palm. Its defining feature is a complex, tangled lattice of roots lifting the main trunk above the water level.

Construct the root structure using mud blocks, mangrove roots, and stripped mangrove wood arching out of shallow water. The central trunk rises from this web of roots, topped with thick, dark green fronds dripping with moss and vines. This tree is perfect for custom swamp overhauls, bayou settlements, and river delta builds.
