17. Outdoor Fire Pit with Log Seating
What This Idea Means
Perfect for backyards, campsite builds, or rustic garden patios, an outdoor fire pit creates a natural gathering spot with dynamic light and rustic seating.
How to Make It
- Dig a 1×1 hole in the ground outside, place a Campfire at the bottom, and surround the top hole edge with Cobblestone or Brick Slabs flush with the floor.
- Place Stripped Spruce or Dark Oak Logs horizontally on the ground two blocks away from the fire pit to form bench seating.
- Attach Spruce Trapdoors to the outer edges of the log benches to serve as sturdy end supports.
- Scatter Light Gray Carpet or Pebble-like Buttons around the fire pit on the grass to look like scattered stones and cushions.
- Add a Lantern on a fence post nearby for additional surrounding perimeter light.
Tips and Variations
- Cooking Pit: Attach Iron Bars directly over the campfire to make it look like an active open-flame cooking grill.
- Smokeless Fire: Put a solid block between the campfire and sightline if you want warmth without heavy smoke obstructing garden views.
