What You Need
- 3/4 yard floral quilting cotton exterior fabric
- 3/4 yard solid or gingham cotton lining fabric
- 3/4 yard 1/4-inch foam stabilizer (such as Soft and Stable)
- 1/2 yard firm felt for removable internal divider
- Hook-and-loop fastener strips (Velcro)
- Fabric ruler, pins, and marking chalk
How to Make It
- Cut main caddy outer, lining, and foam panels (16 x 10 inches base with 7-inch vertical sides).
- Fuse or baste foam stabilizer to exterior panels and quilt linear grid lines across them.
- Stitch exterior pocket panels across front and back exterior sides, dividing pockets into three compartments with vertical stitching.
- Assemble exterior shell and lining shell with boxed bottom corners.
- Construct internal fabric divider piece with hook-and-loop tabs attached to its outer vertical ends.
- Stitch matching hook-and-loop strips to interior lining walls where dividers will attach.
- Join exterior and lining along top edge, turn right side out, topstitch, and insert removable compartment divider.
